Again I have waited a long ass time to update my blog. I'm not lazy ... just busy!!! I just wanted to reach out to you all find out if you enjoyed your Christmas Holidays. There has been a lot of positive things happening in my life, and thereby adding to the all ready cluttered schedule of Jarritt Sheel. This is my second semester teaching at Valencia Community College, and this semester I started teaching Music Appreciation & Music Theory, and I'm very excited about helping more artist/people learn about music. I will also begin performing, in 2010, with the world famous reggae roots artist "Burning Spear." I'm very interested in where I will travel, who I will meet, and what new experiences I will have through performing with this great musician. Again... I am ecstatic about performing around Orlando, FL with my groups..."The Bionic Soul," "BLU-TRIO," and the "BLU-TET." I know and pray that things are things are well with all of you. Greetings and salutations....
It's been a long while since I last wrote you, but... I haven't forgotten nor will I ever leave you by the way side. I am currently plotting on a come up ... as always! I hope you have been doing well, and keeping busy amongst all your various activities. I've been doing alot of performing as of late and teaching. In fact I'm proud to say that I teach at Valencia Community College down here in Orlando, FL. and instruct part at Timber Creek High School. I'm married and in love with my beautiful wife, Mrs. Antonia Sheel. Life is great, busy ... but great,.... and there are so many more things on the horizon for both you and me.
So, you gotta believe not only in yourself but in the Lord above. Thank you Jesus!!! I can remember when... oh lawd.... way back when I had nothing but a trumpet.. and now I'm married and happy. Dear Lord in heaven above thank you so much!
SO... Now the year 2010 approaches rapidly! I'm excited and so should you. My bands "BLU-TET, BLU-TRIO, and The Bionic Soul" are planning recording sessions, local jazz showcase events, touring, and above all... playing in 2010. So... be aware!!!
